Installation
Live in three steps.

Set up the chatbot
Complete the ChatGPT onboarding flow and review your knowledge, personality and widget preview.

Upload and activate
In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP and activate it.

Paste the embed code
Open Settings → ChatGPT Chatbot, paste the complete code from Web Chat → Install and save.

Questions before you install.
- Does the plugin include the chatbot service?
- The plugin connects WordPress to a Chatbot Install account. Create and configure the chatbot first, then paste its embed code.
- Does it work with page builders?
- Yes. It uses WordPress's normal front-end script hook and does not depend on a particular editor or page template.
- Where do messages go?
- The browser loads the widget from Chatbot Install and sends chat messages to that service. The plugin stores the embed code in your WordPress options.
- Is the provider model included?
- The ChatGPT edition sets the matching onboarding preference and visual theme. Available models and features are shown in your Chatbot Install plan and dashboard.
